On Wednesday, we received an update on Lily which was quite disheartening. It seems that she may have a diagnosis that was not listed in her initial paperwork or mentioned on an update from July. When we received this new information we were sad and frightened. What if we couldn't take care of her? How would this affect her future and our future? We did not sign up for this!! After crying and praying, I talked with Mom, I went to RQ (china adoption forum) for education and support, and I educated myself regarding her new diagnosis. I asked God for some kind of sign to let me know what to do, and shortly after He reminded me of this song I had not heard for quite a while....
"When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,
It is well, it is well, with my soul."
I feel that whatever my lot.... Lily is going to be alright, we are going to be alright....It is well with my soul!
So Devil...you are still trying.....but We are still going to China!! It is well with my soul!!

So excited for you! Whatever your "lot" God will bless you so much through your little one! Our daughter is a DELIGHT and a JOY and we are so thankful the Lord blessed us with the twins.
I am so happy for you! That doubt will always creep in even if you did not have an update, but you know what to do when that happens. I will be praying for you on this journey that God has chosen you for.
